Getting rid of twitter email notifications in 4 steps

As some tweeps might have noticed, twitter have recently introduced email notifications to the popular micro-blogging website. I don’t know about you,  but I personally find it somewhat annoying to get these emails whenever any sort of activity happens there, be it a new follower, a mention, a DM or even a post faved by a fellow tweep. I’m sure a lot of active twitter users have already done this (It’s straight forward), but here goes anyway. To stop or edit which notifications you are receiving do the following:

1. Go to your Settings tab from the drop down menu on the top right corner of the twitter page (Would have your avatar and your name on it)

2. Click on Notifications

3. Tick/un-tick as you please from the list

4. Save.

Simple! No more twitter semi-spam 🙂
